"This is one of the toughest circuits around, so this is my chance to show what I can do in a race car." He added. "I'm sure it’s going to be an eye opener when I first get to Berlin, but its sure going to be a lot of fun!" Sims ended.

At Berlin, Sims will be behind the wheel of#99 Lorz Motorsports Chevy Monte Carlo with sponsorship from Sims Custom Countertops as well as Atkins Performance Parts, Richelieu Hardware, and Jordan Sims Racing

During the remainder of the 2008 season, Sims will run a partial schedule within all three divisions of the ASALMS to gain experience for a full run in 2009 with hopes of winning the Rookie of the Year title in the ASALMS Northern Division!

"We're looking forward to running with Jordan Sims this weekend at Berlin Raceway." Added Mike Lorz, Car Owner for Lorz Motorsports. "We're going to test this week and try to shake the bugs out of the new car and then head to Berlin for the race."

"It's been great working with Jordan and Barry Sims! They're pretty excited about getting their season started that's for sure." He ended.

Sims started his stock car career in 2004 at the Laird (ON) International Raceway up near his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario at the age of 14 in the Four-Cylinder division. In 2005, at the age of 15, Sims had an extraordinary rookie season in the Open Wheel Modified division.

He finished with 17 wins en route to his first ever Championship and he also won the Rookie of the Year title that year! Sims was also the youngest driver ever too win a championship at Laird International Raceway.

In 2006, Sims repeated as Modified champion and also began his Super Late Model career on a limited basis later that season! With 12 wins accumulated in the championship run in the modified, Jordan picked up Two (2) Top Fives and Three (3) Top 10s in limited Super Late Model appearances.

Early in 2007, Sims made the trip down to North Carolina and tested a NASCAR Camping World Series car for Team Racing at Caraway (NC) Speedway. The decision was then made to move the 16-year-old, at the time, to North Carolina.

Sims ran in the Thunder Roadster division in the Summer Shootout at the Lowe's (NC) Motor Speedway for Team Racing under the direction of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Owner, Phil Bonifield and finished Fifth in points in the 10-week series.

The highlight of the Series for Sims was when he raced on the 1.5 mile super speedway reaching speeds of in excess of 140 mph. Jordan finished Ninth in that race, but more impressively he raced the car at that speed with a broken right front strut.

After the Summer Shootout series, The Canadian teenager returned to his home track of Laird International Raceway and made his first appearance in the Super Late Model division count by winning his first race of the year in that car.

He finished off his 2007 Racing Season at the Randy DeWitt Memorial at the Kinross (MI) Speed Park where he qualified an impressive Fourth out of 21 Super Late Models and finished Fifth in the 75-lap race. He also ran double duty that weekend as he also ran his Modified and finishing an impressive Fourth in that feature with an ill handling race car.
