After his first career ASA Late Model Series race, Canadian Jordan Sims is ready to go again this time in Mansfield!

Midlothian, Illinois (Wednesday, June 25, 2008): 18-year-old Canadian, Jordan Sims finished 16th in his ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division debut in the 2nd annual Tradition 200 at the famed Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan.

Car Owner, Mike Lorz was extremely happy with his newest driver after the race in Michigan; “Jordan did an awesome job at Berlin! To finish 16th on the lead lap at Berlin in his first time running in the ASA Late Model Series? That was Great!”

“Berlin was an awesome experience and I’m happy with the 16th place finish we got!” The Canadian teenager added. “Finishing 16th and on the lead lap in my first race with the Lorz boys was awesome and things are just going to get better throughout the year and im really excited for Mansfield!”

“I’m pretty excited for Mansfield.” Sims continued. “We learned a lot from the Berlin race with the new car so I believe were going to have a great race at Mansfield, which I think is going to be a great showing for the whole Lorz Motorsports #99 team and I can’t wait!” He ended.

The next race on Sims’ schedule is the API / PPG Industries All-American Classic 200 on Friday and Saturday, June 27-28, 2008 at the immaculate Mansfield Motorsports Park in Mansfield, Ohio.

“We look forward to going to Mansfield.” Added Lorz. “Dan (Lorz) and the crew work very well together with Jordan and I see a lot of good things coming from Jordan down the road.” He ended.

At Mansfield, Sims will once again steer the #99 Lorz Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo with sponsorship from Sims Custom Countertops as well as Atkins Performance Parts, Richelieu Hardware, M.P.H. Promotions, and Jordan Sims Racing

During the remainder of the 2008 season, Sims will run a partial schedule within the ASALMS Challenge and Northern Divisions to gain experience for a full run in 2009 with hopes of winning the Rookie of the Year title in the ASALMS Northern Division!
